When singer-songwriter Mateia first met composer Karsten to write and produce a song for the German coming-of-age movie “Nirgendwo,” they instantly clicked on a musical level.

Both based in beautiful Munich, the two musicians decided to carry on working together as a duo – and that is how CANDID PLACE was born.

“We found ourselves in that rare space where we could make exactly the kind of authentic music together that we love.”
